Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena leader and GVMC corporator P.L.N. Murthy Yadav has asked Visakhapatnam district collector to take back expensive land parcels in Visakhapatnam, whose allotment conditions have been violated.
He pointed to the Daspalla lands, which are in the possession of a real estate company linked to former Rajya Sabha member V. Vijay Sai Reddy.
Further, the JS leader said 97.20 acres of land had been given to NCC Vizag Urban Infrastructure in Madhurawada area, which must be taken back by the government.
Murthy Yadav said the YSRC government had allotted land for three tourism projects in Yendada village of Chinagadili mandal on the Visakhapatnam-Bheemili coastal road. But the lands are not being used for tourism projects but for other activities.
The JS leader said three acres had been allotted to Moonland Hotels for beach resorts. But the company leased out the property, violating the agreement it made with the APTDC.
