SwarnaAndhra:175 Young Professionals to Accelerate Constituency-Level Development
CM targets $2.4 trillion economy by 2047; young talent to lead constituency-level planning across AP

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would recruit 175 young professionals under the SwarnaAndhra@2047 vision to accelerate constituency-level development and planning across Andhra Pradesh.
A key aspect of this vision, he said, is inclusivity. “AP recognises that, for development to be truly effective, it must reach all segments of the population.”
Therefore, detailed planning is essential at the constituency, district and mandal levels. The region-specific needs and opportunities of each area are to be addressed.
Naidu said that as part of Viksit Bharat@2047, the government set an ambitious target to transform the state into a $2.4 trillion economy by 2047. “This goal includes achieving a per capita income of $43,000. To realize this vision, AP is actively developing a comprehensive roadmap.”
This initiative aligns with the broader national vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, which aims for a developed India by 2047. To achieve this transformation, the state is aiming for an impressive annual growth rate of 15 per cent.”
Naidu urged MLAs to take direct responsibility for their constituencies’ progress under the SwarnaAndhra@2047 roadmap. MLAs must lead the execution of these plans. As a pilot project, initially, the vision document has been prepared for Kuppam, Pithapuram, Mangalagiri and Uravakonda assembly segments.
Stating that an opportunity is being provided to all the MLAs to make the vision document a success in their respective segments, the CM assured them that the state government would certainly stand by them.
Following the chief minister’s decision, the government has announced the recruitment of 175 young professionals under its vision plan, an initiative spearheaded by the state development planning society (AP SDPS). It seeks to transform the state into a Rs 2.4 trillion economy.
The recruitment is being done by APSDPS, which functions under the state Planning Department. The hired professionals will work on a contractual basis, each assigned to one of the state’s 175 assembly constituencies to implement the Constituency Vision Action Plan and coordinate the People-Public-Private Partnership (P4) efforts.
The officials said, under the pilot programme, CVAPs have been prepared for Kuppam, Uravakonda, Mangalagiri and Pithapuram assembly constituencies. CVAPs for the rest of 171 constituencies are under progress and these would be submitted to the government by June.
These young professionals will work closely with MLAs, government departments, NGOs, academia, and citizen groups to facilitate participatory development, conduct constituency-level data analysis, support public outreach and drive innovation in governance.
These YPs will be catalysts for grassroots transformation in backward constituencies. Special focus is put on the backward constituencies to prepare CVAPs according to the local needs and development prospects.
