Vijayawada: Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu announced a ‘Super Six, Super Hit’ public meeting to be held in Anantapur on September 6. “Leaders must go among the people, strengthen the positive mood, and connect directly with citizens,” he directed.
Naidu on Saturday held a crucial meeting with senior Telugu Desam leaders at his camp office in Undavalli to finalise the composition of the party’s Parliament Committees. The review meeting, attended by 75 senior leaders, discussed the structure, representation, and future role of these committees.
Calling for discipline, dynamism, and accountability, Naidu concluded, “Power should not make us lax. Parliamentary committees must remain active and vibrant. The party image and the government’s credibility depend on how our leaders function.” The CM said the Telugu Desam has been revitalised with fresh opportunities for youth. “The TD has always stood out for its strong ideology, discipline, and organisation. That is why we continue to enjoy people’s trust. Every party member must act responsibly, especially when we are in government,” he said, reminding leaders of the struggles the party had endured over the past five years.
