Steady Inflows Continue Into Srisailam Reservoir
Over 1.56 lakh cusecs flow in; outflows through Pothireddypadu and powerhouses manage rising levels

Kurnool: The flood inflows into the Srisailam reservoir are continuing steadily, with 1,56,516 cusecs of water arriving from the Jurala and Sunkesula projects. The outflow from the reservoir has been recorded at 89,338 cusecs. Of this, 20,000 cusecs are being released through the Pothireddypadu head regulator, while 35,315 cusecs are being discharged from the left bank powerhouse and 32,210 cusecs from the right bank powerhouse.
The full reservoir level (FRL) of Srisailam is 885 feet, and the current water level has reached 882.50 feet. Against the total storage capacity of 215.80 TMC, the reservoir now holds 201.58 TMC of water.
