SRIT Donates Rs.10 Lakhs to Indian Army as a Mark of Tribute Post Operation Sindoor

Anantapur: In a heartfelt expression of gratitude and patriotism, Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute of Technology (SRIT), Anantapur, has donated Rs.10,00,000/- to the Indian Army, especially recognising their bravery and sacrifice during Operation Sindoor.
The cheque was formally handed over by Jonnalagadda Padmavathy, chairperson of SRIT and also former MLA of Singanamala in Anantapur district, and Dr M. Ranjith Reddy, vice chairman, in the presence of senior Army officials Brigadier Nanjundeswara N.V. and Colonel V. Suresh Goud, representing the Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the SRIT chairperson Jonnalagadda Padmavathy stated that the institute is proud to stand in solidarity with the armed forces and believes such acts of gratitude should become a part of our national culture. “This is not just a donation, it is a tribute to the selfless service of our soldiers,” she said.
