Srisailam Temple To Be Closed On Sept. 7 For Lunar Eclipse
The eclipse is expected to begin at 9:56 pm on September 7 and end at 1:26 am on September 8.

Kurnool: The authorities of Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Varla Devasthanam, Srisailam, have announced that the temple will remain closed from 1 pm on September 7 until 5 am on September 8 due to the lunar eclipse.
The eclipse is expected to begin at 9:56 pm on September 7 and end at 1:26 am on September 8. In view of this astronomical event, Sparsha Darshanam, Arjita Sevas, online Sevas and the Kalyanotsavam of Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba have all been cancelled for the day. Devotees will be permitted only for Alankara Darshanam.
The closure also applies to sub-temples, including Sakshi Ganapati, Hathakeshwaram–Paladhara Panchadhara and Sikhareswaram.
On September 8, temple doors will reopen at 5 am with purification rituals and special pujas. Suprabhata Seva will be followed by Maha Mangala Harathi at 7:30 am, after which devotees will be allowed for Alankara Darshanam till 2:15 pm.
Online ticketholders will be allowed for Sparsha Darshanam and Nijapada Darshanam between 2:15 pm and 4 pm, and from 9 pm onwards and Alankara Darshanam from 5:30 pm to 9 pm.
