Srisailam Revises Darshan Timings To Ease Pilgrim Rush

KURNOOL: The Srisailam temple authorities have revised the protocol and touch-based darshan schedule to improve crowd management and facilitate smoother access for general devotees, the temple Executive Officer (EO) said.

The EO said the revised arrangements are aimed at reducing inconvenience to pilgrims, particularly on peak days. Under the new schedule, touch-based darshan will not be available during the morning and afternoon on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. However, devotees can avail themselves of the facility during the night on these days.

On other days, touch-based darshan will continue in the existing three slots, the EO said. During the auspicious Shravan month, special permission has also been granted to conduct touch-based darshan on Friday nights.

The EO said recommendation letters for protocol darshan must be submitted to the temple authorities at least two days in advance on official letterheads to avoid delays.

He added that recommendation letters can also be sent through the dedicated protocol WhatsApp number, 9160016215.

The revised arrangements are expected to streamline darshan management and improve the overall experience for devotees visiting the temple.
