Vijayawada: Krishna district collector D.K. Balaji on Wednesday directed officials to expedite the arrangements for the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s May 1 visit to Pamarru Assembly constituency.
Reviewing preparations in Pamidimukkala mandal, he inspected the helipad and barricading at Kapileswarapuram and ordered setting up of shades for guests and officials awaiting the Chief Minister’s arrival.
At Pamidimukkala, he expressed dissatisfaction over slow progress at the public meeting venue and directed officials to expedite soil levelling, exhibition stalls and the approach road.
He also asked officials to prepare lists of construction workers interacting with the Chief Minister and ensure their registration on the labour department portal.
Balaji ordered finalisation of beneficiary lists for the public meeting dais, pension distribution at NTR Colony in Veeranki Locks, Shramashakti awardees and maternity benefit beneficiaries, and stressed sanitation, drinking water and mobile toilet facilities at all venues.
