Speaker Praises Lokesh's Education Reforms
Addressing the Shining Stars awards programme in Narsipatnam, the Speaker said the government had accorded top priority to education reforms and was committed to building a stronger education system.

Visakhapatnam:Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu praised education minister N. Lokesh for his efforts to strengthen the state’s education system, saying the minister was working with dedication and a clear vision to improve school education and ensure quality learning.
Addressing the Shining Stars awards programme in Narsipatnam, the Speaker said the government had accorded top priority to education reforms and was committed to building a stronger education system. He said teachers play a crucial role in shaping students, while parents must also monitor their children's academic progress and encourage them to excel.
Congratulating the award-winning students, Ayyanna Patrudu said merit should be recognised irrespective of social background. He said 154 students from the Narsipatnam constituency and over 4,000 students across Andhra Pradesh received the awards. Students from government and private schools who secured outstanding results were presented with a medal, certificate and a cash incentive of `20,000.
The Speaker said students in the Narsipatnam constituency recorded a 98-99 per cent pass rate in the Class X examinations. He said rural and tribal students had demonstrated that they could compete with their counterparts from corporate schools in cities such as Hyderabad and Vijayawada.
He also noted that more than 140 students from the constituency had secured admission to IIITs, describing it as a reflection of the region's academic potential.
Stressing that education is the key to a brighter future, Ayyanna Patrudu urged parents to provide a disciplined learning environment and support their children in pursuing higher education. He said students from every part of the state could achieve success with proper guidance and encouragement.
