Six Women Held for Running Poker Mini-Club in Lalitha Nagar
All six women have been taken into custody and a case has been registered. Police confirmed that further investigation is underway.

Visakhapatnam: Six women were arrested while gambling in Lalitha Nagar in Visakhapatnam.
The task force police, along with the Fourth Town police, conducted a raid based on a tip-off, which led to the bust of an illegal poker operation. Officers seized Rs 22,000 in cash during the raid.
According to sources, the husband of one of the women had alerted the police about his wife’s involvement in gambling.
Investigations revealed that the women had been operating what police described as a "poker mini-club" in Lalitha Nagar and its surrounding areas for an extended period.
The group reportedly maintained fixed hours, playing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, despite previous warnings from local police.
“These women had been running gambling activities in the area for quite some time,” a task force officer said. “We had issued warnings earlier, but they continued with their operations.”
