SIT Questions Jagan’s Aide in Liquor Case Probe

According to sources, the SIT had served a notice directing Nageswar Reddy to appear before investigators on June 1. He attended the inquiry as scheduled.

Vijayawada:The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged Andhra Pradesh liquor scam questioned K. Nageswar Reddy, personal assistant to former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, in Vijayawada on Monday.

According to sources, the SIT had served a notice directing Nageswar Reddy to appear before investigators on June 1. He attended the inquiry as scheduled.

Officials reportedly questioned him regarding his alleged role in the case and sought information relating to persons and assets linked to the investigation.

Sources said investigators also questioned him about YSRC leader Siva Sankar Reddy, who is being examined as part of the probe, and sought details relating to assets under scrutiny.

The SIT investigation is continuing.
