Single-Window Centre to Aid Entrepreneurs in West Godavari

KAKINADA: West Godavari district collector Chadalawada Nagarani announced the setting up of a special guidance and advisory centre to assist aspiring entrepreneurs in establishing new industries in the district.
The centre will function every Monday from 10 am to 2 pm at the collector’s office in Bhimavaram. Officials from various departments will be available during these hours to provide guidance and resolve issues related to permits, certificates, subsidies and other requirements, particularly for those planning to set up food processing units.
The collector said the initiative aims to simplify the process of establishing industries by offering all essential services under one roof. Officials from the Food Safety and Standards Authority will also be present to expedite issuance of licences and provide technical guidance related to the food processing sector.
She urged aspiring entrepreneurs to utilise the facility and avoid approaching intermediaries, which often leads to delays and additional costs. The centre is expected to streamline procedures and encourage industrial growth in the district by providing timely support and clear guidance to investors.
