Sheela Reddy Takes Over As In-Charge VC Of CUAP
Prof. C. Sheela Reddy has taken charge as in-charge vice-chancellor of Central University of Andhra Pradesh after Prof. S.A. Kori completed his term.
Prof. C. Sheela Reddy, the senior-most professor at the university, took over as the in-charge vice-chancellor of Central University of Andhra Pradesh, Anantaapur, following the completion of the term of Prof. S.A. Kori.
Prof. C. Sheela Reddy was earlier the Dean (academics) in CUAP. Prior to joining the university, she was the principal of the Sri Venkateswara College at the University of Delhi. Sheela Reddy started her career in teaching at Sri Venkateshwara University in Tirupati before moving to the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi, where she was chair professor. At IIPA, she was involved in the design and conduct of many national and international training programmes.
Sources say till the Centre appoints a new vice-chancellor for the Central University AP, she will act as the in-charge VC.
