‘Seva Sankalp Yatra’ Begins From Tirupati

TIRUPATI: A bike rally titled ‘Seva Sankalp Yatra’, organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public service, began from Alipiri in Tirupati on Wednesday.
The eight-day yatra will pass through Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Around 25 members of Telugu Yuvatha and Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF) are taking part in the rally.
TD state president Palla Srinivasa Rao, Tirupati Assembly constituency in charge J.B. Srinivas, party parliamentary president Panabaka Lakshmi and others participated in the launch.
Speaking on the occasion, Srinivasa Rao said the yatra was being organised to explain the public service initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the participants sought the blessings of Lord Venkateswara before beginning the journey.
He said the bike rally would continue for eight days through the four states.
Palka said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was providing good governance in the state and Modi was providing good governance at the national level. He said Modi had been working for the establishment of an equal society and that committed leadership was in place in Andhra Pradesh.
