Sept. 22 Last Date To Apply For Inter Attendance Exemption

Vijayawada: The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has on Thursday announced that private candidates seeking attendance exemption and group changes for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) in March 2026 can apply between August 22 and September 26.
BIE secretary Krithika Shukla, in a statement, said that the application fee for attendance exemption is ₹1,500. Applications with a late fee of ₹500 will be accepted from September 27 to October 18.
Eligible candidates include those with a one-year gap after passing SSC or its equivalent, students who failed in the first or second year and wish to shift from sciences to arts/humanities, BiPC students opting to take mathematics as an additional subject, and others as per BIE norms, the secretary said.
