Vijayawada:Senior IPS officer P.V. Sunil Kumar will retire from service on attaining the age of superannuation on June 30.
Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad issued orders on Monday relieving Sunil Kumar from service with effect from the afternoon of June 30.
The order stated that disciplinary proceedings initiated against the officer before his retirement would continue and be concluded in accordance with the provisions of the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969, and the All India Services (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958.
