Visakhapatnam:Retired senior IAS officer Gopisetty Nageswara Rao passed away on Wednesday following a heart attack, marking the loss of a distinguished public servant.

Over his extensive career, Nageswara Rao held key administrative positions, including Guntur collector, youth services commissioner, civil supplies commissioner, textile commissioner, higher education commissioner, special officer of Shilparamam, and managing director of SETWIN. His leadership was instrumental in driving governance, healthcare, and rural infrastructure reforms, significantly improving public welfare.
