Vijayawada: With the implementation of Scheduled Caste (SC) categorisation in Andhra Pradesh, the path has been cleared for the recruitment of government jobs. The state government is now preparing to release pending job notifications.
A total of 18 notifications, covering 866 posts, have been pending with the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC). Of these, 814 vacancies are in the Forest Department.
Sources indicate that the concerned departments have submitted the list of vacancies, and roster points are to be finalized as per the new SC categorisation guidelines. This process is expected to be completed within a month. Once the details are finalized, the APPSC is expected to proceed with the release of the job notifications.
