Satya Calls for Collective Push Towards Healthy Andhra Pradesh

Vijayawada: Minister for health Satya Kumar Yadav on Tuesday called upon doctors and health personnel to work with commitment and dedication to help realise a healthy Andhra Pradesh, with the active support of the people, in the New Year.
Conveying New Year greetings to the general public and the medical fraternity, the minister, in a statement issued here, urged all stakeholders to take a collective resolution to protect public health. He said citizens also have a responsibility to contribute towards achieving this goal.
Emphasising preventive healthcare, Satya Kumar Yadav advocated personal hygiene, maintenance of sanitation in residential areas, and the adoption of healthy lifestyles. He expressed concern over the rapid rise of health risks such as high blood sugar, high blood pressure, cancer and other non-communicable diseases, and stressed the need to keep them under control through a balanced diet, regular physical exercise, yoga and meditation, along with attention to both physical and mental health.
