Sanskrit University VC Appreciates Historian Prof. Sheikh Ali
The VC unveiled a commemorative volume titled "New Facets of Indian Historiography and Historical Methods” dedicated to Prof. Sheikh Ali, founder vice chancellor of Goa University as well as Mangalore University.

ANANTAPUR: Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, vice chancellor Prof. K. K. Geetha Kumari has praised distinguished historian Prof. Sheikh Ali for his remarkable contributions to South Indian history.
The VC unveiled a commemorative volume titled "New Facets of Indian Historiography and Historical Methods” dedicated to Prof. Sheikh Ali, founder vice chancellor of Goa University as well as Mangalore University. The volume has been edited by Prof. P. Chenna Reddy, former director of erstwhile AP State Archaeology and Museums, who delivered the keynote address on the occasion.
The unveiling took place at the Malabar Christian College at a programme organised by its Department of History, with support from the Indian Cultural and Heritage Centre, Cochin.
University of Calicut former vice chancellor Dr. K.K.N. Kurup presided over the function. Prof. Gopalankutty received the first copy of the publication.
Those present on the occasion included Dr. Husain Randathani, Dr. Swarna Kumari, Dr. Godwin Samraj, Dr. M.T. Narayanan and Dr. Shinoy Jesinth.
