Sansad Khel Mahotsav To Be Held From December 18 To 22

KAKINADA: Rajamahendravaram Lok Sabha member D. Purandeswari on Sunday said the Sansad Khel Mahotsav (sports celebrations)–2025 will be organised across 18 mandals in East Godavari district from December 18 to 21, with the closing ceremony scheduled for December 22.
The event is aimed at promoting sports culture among youth, encouraging health and fitness, and identifying talented young athletes at the grassroots level. Competitions in various sports disciplines will be held as part of the celebrations.
Purandeswari said a marathon run for both men and women will be organised on December 21 in Rajamahendravaram. The men’s race will be held over a distance of 5 km, while the women’s race will cover 3 km, with the venue being Arts College.
She urged sportspersons to register in advance, stating that registration would be mandatory for participation in the events.
