RTC Cancels 170 Bus Services In Vizag

The Visakhapatnam region of APSRTC has temporarily cancelled around 170 bus services as a precautionary measure amid the impact of the deep depression and adverse weather conditions in North Andhra.

Visakhapatnam regional manager B. Appala Naidu inspected Dwaraka sus station on Thursday and reviewed passenger movement and the operation of services. He said passenger traffic had declined considerably following the rains and closure of schools and colleges.

Around 50 services on routes including RK Beach, Scindia and Gajuwaka have been temporarily cancelled. Another 120 services, including AC buses to long-distance destinations such as Bhadrachalam, Vanka, Delhi and Hyderabad, have also been cancelled.
