Kurnool:III Town police seized Rs 76 lakh in cash from the house of Kurnool doctor Amar Nath Reddy during a search on Saturday, ahead of the municipal elections scheduled for Sunday.
Police conducted the search following credible information about the cash. They took possession of the amount and asked the doctor to produce documentary evidence establishing its source.
