Rs 1 Crore Donation Announced for Urdu University Building
The minister added that Andhra Pradesh was effectively promoted at Davos and credited Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu with reshaping the state’s future

KURNOOL: Industries minister T.G. Bharat on Thursday announced a Rs 1 crore donation for the construction of the Dr Abdul Haq Urdu University building near Orvakal Airport.
Speaking to the media after construction works resumed, the minister said the university building would have been completed much earlier had his party been in power. He alleged that the previous government had stalled several public welfare projects, including the Urdu University, BC Bhavan and Kapu Bhavan.
“When we were in the Opposition, we took these facts to the people. Leaders who work for the welfare of society should be remembered,” he said.
Emphasising the importance of education, Bharat said quality education can bring transformative change in students’ lives. He said he had discussed education reforms with Minister Nara Lokesh during the recent Davos visit and lauded him for introducing significant changes in the education system.
The minister added that Andhra Pradesh was effectively promoted at Davos and credited Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu with reshaping the state’s future.
