Relax Age Limit of Aspirants Taking DSC Exam: AP Nirudyoga JAC
Nirudyoga JAC calls for a five-year age relaxation and a fair examination process for DSC aspirants.

Visakhapatnam: Members of the AP Nirudyoga JAC, an organisation representing unemployed youth, in a petition to state education minister Nara Lokesh, have urged him to relax the age of aspirants taking the DSC exam.
The members stated in the petition that the previous government’s failure to conduct the DSC examination over the past seven years led to the aspirants exceeding the age limit and thereby losing their eligibility criteria. Hence, as a solution, they urged the state education minister to relax the age of the candidates for a five-year term, which would be beneficial for both the existing and newly qualified TET candidates.
The JAC expressed gratitude for 16,347 DSC job notifications. The announcement, considering the old cutoff date of July 1, 2024, has sparked hope among aspirants across the state. However, the JAC has come up with suggestions for ensuring fairness and transparency in conducting the examination. The organisation stated that the DSC examination should be a single-day event across the state, providing equal opportunities to all the candidates. Apart from this, the JAC members urged the government to schedule the examination for 30 days, allowing candidates adequate preparation time.
S Hemantha Kumar, president of AP Nirudyoga JAC, also pleaded to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan regarding the DSC exams.
