The judgment was delivered on Friday by the additional district and sessions judge (RSS ADJ Court), Narasimha Murthy, in a case registered by the Red Sanders Anti-Smuggling Task Force (RSASTF).
According to RSASTF officials, the case relates to Crime No. 21/2017. The accused, R. During the trial, special public prosecutor Aluguri Amara Narayana presented evidence before the court. After examining the material, the judge found the accused guilty and awarded a five-year jail term along with a ₹6 lakh fine. Following the court’s orders, the convict was shifted to Nellore Central Jail.
RSASTF SP J. Kulashekar said special focus had been given to pending cases as part of an action plan prepared by the task force head L. Subba Rayudu.
