Rammohan Naidu Named in WEF Young Global Leaders List
Civil Aviation Minister among 7 Indians honoured for leadership, innovation, public service

Vijayawada: Union Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu has been selected as one of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders for the year 2025.
The forum selects young leaders from around the world who have shown excellent leadership in their fields. This time, seven people have been selected from India. Naidu is a Telugu Desam MP and the youngest minister in the Union Cabinet. Naidu said he considered this as a great honour him.
Apart from him, the six others from India on the list are Ritesh Agarwal, founder and group CEO of OYO Hotels and Homes; Alok Medikepura Anil, MD, Next Big Innovation Labs; Natarajan Sankar, MD and partner, Boston Consulting Group; Nipun Malhotra, founder, Nipman Foundation; Manasi Subramaniam, editor-in-chief and vice-president, Penguin Random House and Anurag Maloo, mountaineer, entrepreneur & keynote speaker, Orophile Ventures (Climbing4SDGs).
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu congratulated Rammohan for the honour he received. “This prestigious recognition is a source of pride for the country, especially the Telugu people. Rammohan's dedication in public service will continue to inspire the youth,” he said.
Education Minister Nara Lokesh said that Rammohan's selection was a source of pride for AP and India.
Rammohan Naidu said, “The importance of Indian youth is increasing as they are making important and influential decisions.
Rammohan Naidu was one of the youngest members of Parliament in 2014 at the age of 26. He has been serving as a cabinet minister in the Modi cabinet since 2024. Under his leadership, the civil aviation department is creating infrastructure at airports and developing air services to various remote areas.
The Young Global Leaders programme identifies “trailblazers who are shaping the future through courageous leadership, innovative thinking and a deep commitment to the public good.” The 2025 cohort features 116 exceptional individuals from over 50 countries.
