Ram Temple to Become Global Spiritual Hub: Naidu

Naidu praised the Uttar Pradesh government for its development efforts and said UP was doing extremely well.

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, took darshan of Lord Shri Ram and offered prayers at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir on Sunday.

He took part in the ongoing Prathishta Dwadashi Yagna in the temple premises, praying for peace and global well-being.

Naidu said, “Today, I was blessed to have darshan and offer prayers at the divine and magnificent Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya. It was a peaceful and spiritually uplifting experience to be here once again.”

“Lord Shri Ram’s values and ideals are timeless lessons for us all. May they continue to guide and inspire us always,” he said.

Later, the Chief Minister told the media, “Ram Rajya is the benchmark for any government. I sincerely appreciate all those who contributed to building this magnificent temple -- from those who worked tirelessly on the ground to those who achieved consensus through dialogue and understanding.”

This is a historic temple and it will emerge as a major spiritual hub for India, Naidu said.

India, he said, is progressing rapidly in technology and knowledge. “When we combine this progress with our traditional spiritual values, it becomes the best path forward for humanity. The Ayodhya temple will play a critical role in strengthening these values.”

Naidu praised the Uttar Pradesh government for its development efforts and said UP was doing extremely well. Both UP and Bihar would play a key role in realising the goal of Vikasit Bharat 2047, he said, and congratulated the UP government, saying it was doing an excellent job.

On the Ayodhya temple, Naidu said, “The temple is divine, historic and transformative. I am confident that in the next two years, the temple will become a role model for temples across the country. I also wish that the temple grows as a global centre for faith, culture and spiritual enrichment.”

Naidu spent considerable time in the temple complex, observing the grandeur and divinity of the newly built temple. Temple officials briefed him on the architectural significance, ongoing works and the vision behind the project.

Earlier, when the Chief Minister arrived at the Maharshi Valmiki international airport in Ayodhya, he was given a warm welcome by the Uttar Pradesh agriculture minister and Ayodhya district in-charge minister, Surya Pratap Shahi and senior officials.

Naidu recalled his participation in the historic Pran Prathishta ceremony in January 2024 and expressed happiness at returning to the temple again for having darshan of Ram Lalla.
