Rajahmundry Hit-and-run: Medico Priyanka Dies

Medico Priyanka who was seriously injured in the hit-and-run case in Rajahmundry breathed her last during treatment in Secunderabad hospital.
KIMS doctors confirmed that Priyanka had died at 3.25 pm on Sunday.
Priyanka belongs to Jogulamba Gadwal district. After completion of MBBS, she joined in the dermatology wing in her post graduation and was pursuing first year at GSL Medical College in Rajahmundry.
Her parents are settled in Hyderabad. On Aug. 3, Priyanka was going out of Prasad Aditya Mall in Rajahmundry after watching a movie along with her classmate on a two-wheeler when Suravarapu Dushyanth of Namavaram and Andrew William Joseph of Lalacheruvu hit their bike with their car, in an intoxicated condition.
Later, they hit the bike very hard once again and under the impact, Priyanka fell off the vehicle and suffered serious injury to her brain.
She was rushed to a private hospital in Rajahmundry but with her condition getting worsened, she was shifted to KIMS in Secunderabad.
