Raghurama Krishna Raju Custody Case: Accused No. 1 Sunil Kumar Questioned in Guntur

Hyderabad: Senior IPS officer P.V. Sunil Kumar, named as the prime accused (A1) in the alleged custodial torture case of then Narasapuram MP and current Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishna Raju, appeared for questioning before the Guntur CCS Police Station on Monday. This appearance is in connection with the case dating back to the previous YSRC government.
The questioning of Sunil Kumar is being overseen by the investigating officer, Vizianagaram SP Damodar. Sunil Kumar's appearance today, December 15, follows the issuance of a second notice. He was initially served a notice on November 26, directing him to appear on December 4, but he requested an extension due to family members' ill health. Subsequently, the second notice was issued on December 6.
