PV Sindhu Sports Academy Foundation Stone to be Laid Today

VISAKHAPATNAM: Double Olympic medallist and world champion P. V. Sindhu will set the foundation stone for the P.V. Sindhu Centre for Sports Excellence in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.

The academy, being established through the P.V. Sindhu Foundation, aims to identify, nurture and support young sporting talent by providing a comprehensive training ecosystem. The initiative is inspired by Sindhu’s own sporting journey and the role played by her coaches, mentors and support system.
The proposed campus will feature international-standard badminton courts, high-performance coaching facilities, a strength and conditioning centre, sports science and physiotherapy units, player accommodation, nutrition and recovery support, and advanced training technologies for elite athletes.
