Prostitution Racket Busted in Ongole Lodge, 7 Held

Task Force police conducted a surprise raid on Ajanta Lodge on Kurnool Road in Ongole and allegedly busted a prostitution racket operating on the premises.

Acting on the instructions of Prakasam district superintendent of police V. Harshavardhan Raju, a team led by Task Force in-charge CI Kamalakar, along with SI Chenchaiah and other personnel, raided the lodge under the jurisdiction of Ongole One Town police station.

During the inspection, police reportedly found prostitution activities being carried out at the lodge. They took three women, two customers and the lodge owner into custody and handed them over to Ongole One Town police for further legal action.

Police warned that strict legal action would be taken against those involved in illegal and anti-social activities.
