Prakasam: Abandoned Newborn Girl Found With Ant Bites Rescued
The baby girl was shifted to the Darsi Government Hospital for treatment, and the doctors said the baby’s condition is currently stable.
Prakasam: In a heartbreaking incident reported from Talluru village in the district, a three-day-old newborn baby girl found abandoned in thorny bushes with ants crawling over her was safely rescued on Saturday and given a new lease of life.
The baby was found near the Sri Ram Dairy milk collection center on the Talluru-Mundlamuru main road in Mundlamuru mandal. Some locals passing by heard the cries of an infant coming from the thorn bushes on the side of the road, and when they went to check, they were horrified to see a baby girl covered in ants and crying inconsolably.
The locals immediately alerted the 108 emergency services. The ambulance staff rushed to the spot and rescued the infant. The baby girl was shifted to the Darsi Government Hospital for treatment, and the doctors said the baby’s condition is currently stable.
Police have registered a case and are making efforts to trace the parents.
