Satish appealed to people across the erstwhile East Godavari district to approach the Praja Darbar office with their grievances, assuring solutions.

Kakinada: The Praja Darbar (Grievance Cell) organised by Rajya Sabha member Sana Satish has resolved 921 out of 1,265 grievances over the past 50 weeks, emerging as a key platform for addressing public issues.
According to officials, issues related to CM Relief Fund assistance, housing plots, ration cards, employment, pensions and medical services in government hospitals are being taken up and resolved through the programme. The initiative focuses on response, follow-up and resolution of every petition.
Satish said civil disputes, personal financial matters and cases under judicial jurisdiction are not taken up under Praja Darbar. However, guidance is provided on employment-related petitions, and youth are supported through skill development programmes.
He said he personally monitors the programme, interacts with officials on each issue and ensures follow-up action. His camp office functions round the clock to assist people, he added.
The Praja Darbar team highlighted key interventions, including construction of a long-pending bridge in Boddavaram village in Tuni constituency, fulfiling a 45-year demand of farmers, a Rs 7 lakh bridge built by the Sana Satish Babu Foundation, installation of an RO water plant in Kakinada, and distribution of sports equipment to schools.
Officials said the programme is now moving towards a target of resolving 85 per cent of grievances, with increasing public response each week.
