Vijayawada:Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has announced that the Public-Private-People's-Partnership (P-4) system proposed by his government to eliminate poverty will be implemented from Telugu New Year Ugadi.
Best results can be achieved if the 10 per cent of the people who are in the top financial position can extend necessary assistance to empower the 20 per cent of the people that are at the bottom level, he said at a review meet he held on Planning department on Tuesday.
Naidu directed the officials to create a portal to receive suggestions, opinions and advice from the public and formulate guidelines on the P-4 system. Some industrialists, NRIs and those holding high positions in society are coming forward to extend necessary assistance to the poor, he said.
The CM said, "I will implement the P-4 system by bringing all such persons under a common umbrella. At the same time, the downtrodden sections will be identified through a special survey and see to it that they get proper assistance."
