Police File Custody Petition Against Sadiq Khan

Kakinada:Eluru Range Inspector-General of police G.V.G. Ashok Kumar said on Tuesday that two cases had been registered at Rajamahendravaram and Sarpavaram police stations against Shaik Sadiq Khan in connection with the suicide of panchayat raj engineer T. Nooka Raju, his wife Meena and daughter Kovvuri Soujanya.

The three had allegedly jumped into the Godavari river near Rajamahendravaram on August 16. Sarpavaram police had filed a petition in the court seeking Sadiq Khan’s custody, Ashok Kumar said.
