Police confirm no vehicle collision in pastor's fatal accident

According to police findings, Pastor Praveen traveled to liquor shops in Hyderabad, Kodad, and Eluru during his journey. He was involved in three minor accidents and made six UPI payments, as verified by transaction records. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report confirmed the presence of alcohol in his system.

Evidence and witness accounts suggest that Praveen’s health deteriorated throughout his trip. At the Keesara toll booth, he lost control of his motorcycle and fell. Despite a swift response from an ambulance and medical staff, he persisted with his journey. An auto driver at Ramavarappadu junction also observed Praveen’s poor condition. After resting for two hours in a park on the advice of a traffic inspector, he ignored warnings and continued traveling, using his right-side signal light due to a broken headlight.

Further details revealed that Praveen’s glasses were already damaged when he arrived at the liquor shop in Eluru, and he was seen speeding on the Konthamuru flyover. At the accident site, ongoing roadwork and scattered gravel stones were likely contributing factors. The forensic report determined that Praveen’s motorcycle veered off the road, became airborne, and struck him, leading to his death. No other vehicle was involved in the collision; a significant gap existed between his motorcycle and the car traveling beside it.

In a press conference, Inspector General Ashok stated that Pastor Praveen’s family has expressed complete trust in the police investigation and has dismissed any suspicions about his death.
