PM Modi Reviews Cyclone Montha Situation with Naidu
Prime Minister speaks to Andhra Pradesh CM on preparedness; Chandrababu directs Minister Lokesh to coordinate with PMO

Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday spoke over phone with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to review the situation arising from Cyclone Montha.
During the conversation, the Chief Minister briefed the Prime Minister on the precautionary measures and steps being taken by the state government to mitigate the cyclone’s impact. He also instructed Minister Nara Lokesh to coordinate closely with the Prime Minister’s Office to ensure smooth communication and effective response.
Later, CM Chandrababu held a review meeting with senior officials at the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) centre to assess the state’s preparedness. Officials informed him that Cyclone Montha is currently centered about 680 km from Kakinada and is moving toward the coast at a speed of 16 km per hour.
