Pet Dog Under Focus In Tuni Missing Girl Case
The girl had gone missing on June 6 when she left home on a 50-acre farm to be with her father working on the farm. Her pet dog had followed her at the time.

KAKINADA: The pet dog of the two-and-a-half-year girl missing from an oil palm farm at CH Agraharam in Dondavaka panchayat of Tuni mandal of Kakinada district, has returned home.
The girl had gone missing on June 6 when she left home on a 50-acre farm to be with her father working on the farm. Her pet dog had followed her at the time. The dog had returned home on Tuesday but ran away on seeding police personnel and other people. It, however, returned for good on Wednesday night.
Peddapuram DSP N.B.G. Tilak told Deccan Chronicle that a GPS tag will be tied to the pet-dog and see if it could lead to missing girl or help provide some clues. However, for the time being, police are leaving the pet dog alone, as it appears to be in an anxious condition.
In the interim, the dog squad commissioned by the police is continuing its search for the girl in the area. The DSP said more than 100 police personnel including circle inspectors of Kakinada district are searching for the girl.
The possibility of the girl being kidnapped is not being ruled out.
It is said due to the sensitivity of the case, the Chief Minister’s Office is closely monitoring the case.
