PD Act Invoked Against Two Rowdy Sheeters In Guntur District
Acting on the orders of Guntur district superintendent of police Vakul Jindal and district collector A. Thameem Ansariya, officials issued detention orders against the two rowdy sheeters

Vijayawada: Authorities in Guntur district have invoked the Preventive Detention (PD) Act against two habitual offenders, shifting them to Rajahmundry Central Jail for their repeated involvement in criminal activities.
Acting on the orders of Guntur district superintendent of police Vakul Jindal and district collector A. Thameem Ansariya, officials issued detention orders against the two rowdy sheeters.
The first accused, Shaik Baji, also known as Siripuram Baji, is a 42-year-old resident of Guntur. He has an “A” category rowdy sheet at Nallapadu police station and is involved in five criminal cases.
The second accused, Shaik Sameer, alias Faizal, aged 19, also from Guntur, has an “A+” category rowdy sheet at Kothapeta police station. He faces charges in 10 cases, including two murder cases.
According to police records, Sameer has been involved in criminal activities from a young age and is a habitual offender, engaged in serious offences such as robbery, theft and violent crimes.
