Pawan Calls For High Vigil Along Coastline
In a letter addressed to state chief secretary and DGP here on Monday, the deputy CM underlined the importance of high alert in the state.

Vijayawada:Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has called for high vigil along the coastline and stressed the need to keep a close watch on “movement of terrorists, their sympathizers, sleeper cells and Rohingyas” in AP.
These, he said, are essential in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor.
In a letter addressed to state chief secretary and DGP here on Monday, the deputy CM underlined the importance of high alert in the state.
Referring to the arrest of a youth linked to the ISIS in Vizianagaram, he asked administrations of all the districts to maintain high alert. “In case any traces are found about the sympathisers of terrorists, sleeper cells and illegal immigrants being around, such issues must be brought to the notice of senior officials," he said.
There, he said, must be a close watch on those who took part in terrorist activities in the state earlier. There must be more alert and attention on north Andhra districts and the twin districts of Godavari and Parvathipuram Manyam.”
With regard to the Rohingyas, PK called for an inquiry into their presence especially in Guntur and other districts. He got information that some of them were having ration cards, Aadhar and voter cards. This was a very disturbing development, he said.
The deputy CM also called for a thorough inquiry into how they could manage to get such such ID cards and who helped them and who provided them shelter.
