A Class VII student of Ekalavya School at Anasabhadra in Makkuva mandal, Parvatipuram Manyam district, hanged himself to death on Thursday.
Twelve-year-old Arpit did not have his breakfast on Thursday. Instead, he went inside the room and hanged himself to the window with a towel. His parents, Savara Rambabu and Chamanti, belonging to Errannaguda village in Seetampet mandal, expressed doubt over their son's death.
Rambabu alleged that there was inconsistency in the reply of the principal and staff of the school, regarding Arpit's death.
Following minister Gummidi Sandhyarani's orders, tribal welfare department secretary Naik issued orders suspending principal Suresh and removing the warden from service.
