Paritala Sunitha asks Jagan not to fuel factionalism

Paritala Sunitha pointed out that Paritala and Gangula families have already suffered heavily due to factional violence, with about 45 people killed in Anantapur

Kurnool: Raptadu legislator Paritala Sunitha has criticised efforts to portray a minor incident in Papireddypalli of Ramagiri mandal of Satya Sai district as a factional clash.

Addressing media in Anantapur on Thursday, she accused Topudurthi brothers of inciting factionalism in Raptadu and attempting to drag the Obul Reddy and Maddelacheruvu Suri families into the conflict. She urged people not to believe in Topudurthi brothers or become part of their conspiracy.

Sunitha stressed that factional tensions should not be revived in peaceful villages. She pointed out that Paritala and Gangula families have already suffered heavily due to factional violence, with about 45 people killed in Anantapur.

The Raptadu legislator demanded that former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy visit all victims of the Topudurthi brothers over the past five years, not just the Lingamayya family in Papireddypalli. She accused Topudurthi Prakash Reddy of provoking the families of Gangula Bhanumathi and Sane Uma at a time when peace is prevailing.

Sunitha went on to allege that Jagan Mohan Reddy is involved in the murder of her husband Paritala Ravindra. In this regard, she recalled that Jagan is also being investigated by the CBI in the case.
