Palnadu Woman Poisons Two Sons, Dies by Suicide
On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.
Palnadu: In a tragic incident, a 24-year-old woman allegedly gave poison to her two young sons before dying by suicide in Vittamrajupalli village of Vinukonda mandal in Palnadu district.
According to the police, Nakka Bharati and Sunil Reddy, both residents of Vittamrajupalli, were married a few years ago. The couple had two sons, nine-year-old Tejesh Reddy and four-year-old Hemanath Nagi Reddy. Sunil Reddy was working as a milk van driver.
Police said the couple had been having frequent disputes for the past few days. Distressed over the fights, Bharati allegedly gave poison to her two sons on Monday night before hanging herself.
Local residents suspect that Bharati was upset over her husband's alleged negligence and his addiction to bad habits. However, police are yet to ascertain the exact reason behind the incident.
