Palla Srinivasa Rao Accuses YSRC Of Blocking Google Project, Misusing Farmers’ Names

State TD president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao has accused the YSRC leaders of misleading the public and attempting to block significant development projects in Andhra Pradesh.

Visakhapatnam: State TD president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao has accused the YSRC leaders of misleading the public and attempting to block significant development projects in Andhra Pradesh.

He pointed out that the same party that previously went to court to stop TCS from operating in the state is now trying to obstruct the Google project.
Speaking at a press conference in Gajuwaka on Friday, Srinivasa Rao asserted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Visakhapatnam is set to become the leading IT hub on the East Coast. He highlighted that major global companies, including TCS, Cognizant, Accenture and Google, are investing in the region. "Thanks to the efforts of IT minister Nara Lokesh, the arrival of Google is a historic milestone for the state,” Srinivasa Rao said.
The state TD president mentioned that the government has allocated 200 acres of land in Bheemili and Truvada for a Google data centre and has decided to compensate farmers at Rs 9.55 lakhs per acre. He alleged that the YSRC leaders are using farmers as a front to protect benami lands by filing cases, some even on the names of deceased individuals.
Furthermore, the state TD president claimed that during the administration of former Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, hundreds of acres were illegally taken over by the YSRC leaders and their close IAS officers under benami names, including 300 acres that are currently being used to hinder the Google project.
