Officials Conduct Land Survey at Bugga Mutt Amid Encroachment Allegations
The Endowment Department had issued a notice on April 11, claiming that 3.88 acres in survey numbers 261/1 and 261/2 were allegedly encroached upon by former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and three others.

The survey, initially delayed due to the 16th Finance Commission's visit last month, was carried out to investigate alleged encroachments on endowment land.
Tirupati: A land survey was conducted at Bugga Mutt on Saturday, led by District Inspector of Land Surveyor Chitti Babu and Endowment Assistant Commissioner Ramakrishna Reddy. The survey, initially delayed due to the 16th Finance Commission's visit last month, was carried out to investigate alleged encroachments on endowment land.
The Endowment Department had issued a notice on April 11, claiming that 3.88 acres in survey numbers 261/1 and 261/2 were allegedly encroached upon by former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and three others. In response, Peddireddy denied any connection to the land, that his brother, Dwaraknath Reddy, had purchased it, according to a news report.
