13 Injured as Private Bus Rams Into Lorry in Tuni

The front portion of the bus was severely damaged in the collision. At least 13 passengers sustained serious injuries and were immediately shifted to the Tuni Area Hospital for treatment.

Kakinada: A private travels bus collided with a lorry from behind in the early hours of Tuesday near D-Mart in Tuni, Kakinada district.
The private travels bus was travelling from Odisha to Vijayawada when it rammed into the lorry. Around 40 passengers were reportedly on board the bus at the time of the accident.
The front portion of the bus was severely damaged in the collision. At least 13 passengers sustained serious injuries and were immediately shifted to the Tuni Area Hospital for treatment.
Further details regarding the condition of the injured passengers and the circumstances leading to the accident are awaited.
Police have registered the case and the investigation is underway.
