Nuzvid Court Dismisses Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s Bail Plea

Responding to the bail petition of Vamsi, who was Gannavaram MLA, the court heard the arguments of lawyers of Vamsi and the police and dismissed the petition. Vamsi is now lodged as a remand prisoner in Vijayawada prison after being arrested in the case booked at Hanuman Junction police station.

According to police, Vamsi and others were facing allegations related to distribution of counterfeit house pattas during elections. The issue surfaced when Muppalaneni Ravi Kumar filed a complaint with election returning officers against Vamsi.
