NTR Health University Plans 17 Allied Healthcare Courses From 2026–27
Dr NTR University of Health Sciences plans to introduce 17 NCAHP-approved allied healthcare courses in government medical colleges from the 2026–27 academic year.
Dr NTR University of Health Sciences is planning to introduce 17 allied and healthcare profession courses approved by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) in government medical colleges across Andhra Pradesh from the 2026-27 academic year.
The proposal was discussed at a meeting chaired by vice-chancellor Dr P. Chandrasekhar on Monday.
The meeting reviewed plans to introduce the new programmes and strengthen the existing allied and healthcare courses based on the availability of qualified faculty, infrastructure and compliance with NCAHP norms.
The proposed courses are expected to be introduced in government medical colleges after meeting the regulatory requirements prescribed by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions.
