VIJAYAWADA: NTR district police prevented the murder-suicide attempt of a woman with her two children. Police said the woman was facing family disputes. Chilakalapudi police were alerted about the presence of the woman and her two children.
They informed the Vijayawada police control room circle inspector who alerted all police stations concerned. Traffic RSI Sridhar Kumar and head constable Bhushanam spotted them in the nick of time and took the woman and the kids to the One Town police station for counselling. Vijayawada police commissioner S.V. Rajasekhar Babu appreciated the police personnel for their quick action.
